What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a natural component of the hemp plant and just one of many ingredients in medical cannabis. This component on its own is not psychoactive, meaning it does not produce a “high” effect. As reported by the World Health Organization, “CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile. … To date, there is no evidence of recreational use of CBD or any public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”
