1. Gyoza (Japanese)
These little pan-fried dumplings are one of my favorites.
They're filled with chicken, pork, shrimp or vegetables (or a combo) and can be found in ramen shops and pubs all around Japan.
Dumplings are a joy of life, but it turns out every culture has a version, if not several, to sample. Any doughy food with a filling (or without) is technically a dumpling, so that covers a lot!
