We have to give the Easter Bunny credit -- he delivers all that candy and somehow doesn't eat all of it? A master class in resisting temptation. Us? We've never seen an Easter candy we don't like and will be spending the next few days determining how many mini chocolate eggs we can fit in our mouths at a time.
It's not our fault, see. The surplus of chocolate-y goodness that floods shelves this time of year is just irresistible, and new versions of our classic favorites are coming out all the time, making it even harder to snack responsibly.
Getting on board the Easter candy boat, Oreo jumped in recently with their Cookies & Creme Eggs that we'll be hunting down at every drugstore for the next week on top of the hordes of Cadbury eggs and pastel M&Ms that were already in our mental shopping carts. But maybe we'll pick up an extra bag or two on our next trip specifically for these seven recipes. Easter candy sugar bombs, here we come.
