1. Substitute Fats
Not all fats are created equal. Some are better are than
others, which in this case means they are higher in omega-3 fatty acids -- they boost good cholesterol levels and reduce the bad. Avocado oil, corn oil,
flaxseed oil, rice bran oil, safflower oil and olive oil are excellent
choices. Hydrogenated oils, palm oil and butter are ones to avoid.
