Happy National Daiquiri Day! This lime, rum, and sugar cocktail traces its roots to Cuba at the beginning of the 1900s, probably named after a local beach near a mine. Rumor has it one of two Americans, both mining adjacent, named the drink and it came to New York in 1902.
